You didn't mention that Christianity done properly is also like a family where people love and care for each other. And that love and care extends outward even to the relatives and the friends of the people who go to the church.
Some nonprofit groups do something similar but it's not the same. They don't have the love that Christians have because when you follow God with your whole heart God will change who you are.
Embracing liberty also changes who you are. I'd love to celebrate liberty with like-minded people, and use that shared value to improve my community.
