Video Clip of My 2002 Libertarian Race vs Rahm Emanuel, & Other Recognized Libertarian Faces

The Illinois team was particularly effective back then. These were my words executed in 1 take. It was the first of 3 races. The other 2, in 2004 and 2006 against a Marco Rubio mentor, neocon Republican Lincoln Diaz-Balart, were in Florida in the Miami area. I came very close to winning that 3rd one when I had 55% of the vote with 68% of precincts reporting on election night. I did it with only 10 volunteers and $16,000. The following year, in 2008, someone far more recognized than I tried to do what I did, spent literally 100 times more and, for his trouble, received only 1% more in votes, thus proving money is NOT everything in politics--a good message and fiercely dedicated team is.
