Hey Tommy. I've been unable to convince anyone in the past 10 years or so that Pride is as much a protest event as it is a celebration. We've come a long way, but I worry that as those of us who paved the way with our blood get older (and we're the fortunate ones), the younger generation won't see a need to carry the torch.
Also I co-Admin the Steemit LGBT+ Discord server. If you're on there, you're certainly welcome to join us. :)

    Hi there. I'm so glad you are full of pride! I'm a director of my local Pride here in the UK and work very hard to keep queer people a visible and vocal aspect of our community. I am always looking to make new friends and I'd love to join you.
