Update 12.17.18
Hi everyone! Welcome to the Ledgerback blog.
For the next two weeks, we will be working on our plans for 2019. Here is a short list of some of the things we will be working on.
1. New Roadmap
We will be working on a new roadmap for 2019. We substantially met our Roadmap goals for 2018 by keeping our goals realistic (most of them at least) and by doing so again, we can make achievable plans for next year.
2. Research and Analyses
Our research wing, Greyscail, will be planning new research and analyses for 2019 concerning, but not limited to:
- blockchain and cryptocurrency mass adoption;
- blockchain on-chain and off-chain governance;
- blockchain business model toolkits;
- blockchain industry use-cases; and
- blockchain use-cases with other emerging technologies.
3. Our Identity
Lastly, we shall be working on our organizational model so that it can embody new principles and values we have identified and our original goals when we started Ledgerback.
For example, seeing how it would be possible to incorporate principles and values from open cooperativisim, platform cooperativism, commons based peer production, and even Sensorica’s open value network with the principles and values of a blockchain projects
About
Ledgerback is a community-driven, decentralized, open network creating a decentralized commons for peer-to-peer research, analyses, and development in emerging technologies, communities and ideas.
We believe more frequent and unfettered access to information and platforms will push the adoption of emerging technologies and continue the decentralization process.
In so doing, we help our members (a/k/a Backers) acquire basic competency in decentralized governance and blockchain technology, and provide the tools necessary thereto to develop their own projects.
