"Better to light a candle, than complain about the dark"

starting from casual conversations with colleagues, about how we do good to anyone, under any circumstances. Simply give a deep meaning, though it may be just an endless joke. continued with the last day's lecture before the exam, bureaucracy courses that are more inclined to study religion & ethics are still about doing good. yes, as social beings, as well as being intellectual, we have many choices to do or not to do. different from his other created creatures, who already have their own destiny, and they are not faced with a choice. plants, grows in place, develops, and eventually dies. so does the animal, with a little bonus the ability to move to keep his life, until death finally picks up. but man, of course there are many things that can be done. not just silence staring at life that never known when the end. a gift that is given, is a clue. to be a more useful being, by doing good. so the lecturer explains, scribbling his markers on the board, with irregular shapes. those who only see with a glance, certainly would not understand the meaning of meaningful scribble. then he goes on to say that the essence of living in the world as a human being is doing good and spreading the good in order to benefit many people around him, even for his non-living creatures. because they will live for a time, and ask for accountability for what man has done to them throughout his life in the world. as in a hadith, narrated from Jabir said, "The Messenger of Allah said, 'The believer is friendly and there is no good for a man who is not friendly. And the best people are the most beneficial to humans. "Yes, again it is emphasized that those who are the best are the most useful. not the smartest, the richest, the strongest, the best, and the most everything on earth. as simple as that, be useful. then being useful and doing good is a related clause. to do good and be useful, one does not have to be rich first. just simply be who she is, what she is, and do something, from the smallest thing, that no one else will notice. like a candle, he lights the fire, though very small, but he has done something. at least, he did not curse the darkness, but he struggled to give light to keep it dark. he is beneficial to his surroundings, though no one will know that the light is his, for he is too small to be seen. because indeed, to do good, no need to expect anything from others is not it? not praise or punishment. but because we want to do it. choose to do so. how beautiful this path, if every foot that is stepped not because of expecting praise or fear of punishment. but indeed we are choosing to move it. so that, once the decision has been made and has an unpopular result, no one has the right to blame but ourselves, for it is the only one who has to take responsibility for that choice. even when the usefulness is actually gained, no one is happier but ourselves because it succeeds in spreading the good with our own choice. without being asked by others, for no reason to be humiliated or praised. but because we did choose to do it. yes, as easy as it turns out to be a good human being. just enough to be beneficial to humans
