NOTE: CPU mining won't net you much of anything. HOWEVER, as it's been said before. Something is better than nothing. Also, it's a good way for people to learn about mining if they wish as well. SOME GPUs won't net a whole lot either. Just wanting to make sure this is known. GPU rigs with multiple cards will net your more yes, and ASIC as well as NiceHash naturally net more.
Also, NO YOU CAN NOT mine LCC with ANY GPU that is under compute compatibility 2.1. It MUST be 3.0 or higher compute compatibility.
I want to make this clear. Mining sha256 coins is mainly profitably with only ASIC miners and high end GPU rigs. In even most cases with high end GPU rigs, depending on costs for electricity, it may not be profitable even then. Reason for ASICs being the biggest earning rigs to mine any sha256 coin is within the design. ASIC rigs are designed SPECIFICALLY FOR MINING SHA256. This being said, no GPU rig can out earn an ASIC in terms of cost to hashing power. That doesn't mean that good GPUs or even GPU farms can not earn a profit. It rests a lot on the setup, and costs of running said setup. If you are wanting to learn about mining sha256 ect. Then, really any sha256 based coin will work. Just have to decide on which one you wish to mine.
LCC is a sha256 based coin, NOT A SCRYPT algorithm based coin. Hence, mining with GPUs are usually better mining scrypt based algorithm. Don't let this deter you from learning more about sha256 mining however, as it CAN be mined with CPU/GPU/ASIC/NiceHash.
