Today I am writing about an interesting Steemit Engagement Challenge S22 - W3: which is all time my favourite topic “Human Rights (HR)" this amazing challenge organised by @anasuleidy . So, in this post I am going to share my point of view about this topic.

Based on what was explained in class, state in your own words and with explanations whether you consider that human rights are respected or violated in your country

Everyone has full right to human rights. No matter what age, region, colour, caste, religion or economic status they are from, human rights are equal for everyone. In my country India, many types of constitutions have been implemented to respect and protect human rights.

But there is no doubt that these constitutions are not followed as strictly and with legal framework. Human rights are violated by the lawyers who protect the legal framework. People are left behind in getting their human rights. The Constitution of India has not been made on the basis of caste and religion of the people. Here the main objective of these constitutions is to help everyone get equal rights without discrimination on the basis of caste, religion and gender.

Human rights have been described in Part 3 of the Constitution of India.

In which, between Articles 14 to 18, the right to equality to give equal status to all the citizens of the country has been mentioned.

Article 21 may talks about the life and freedom rights of citizens.

Article 21A of the Constitution of India gives information about the right to provide equal education to all, that everyone has equal right to education.

Under this constitution, the "Beti Padhao aur Beti Bachao" movement is going on nowadays.

Please state, according to the laws of your country, whether Human Rights have the same value as the Constitution of your country, whether they are supra-constitutional, or whether the Constitution prevails over international treaties on Human Rights

The Constitution of India has equal value for human rights for all. This is a democratic country, the legal framework here is very strong, but the experts of this legal framework find out the weaknesses of this framework and violate the human rights of the people. Due to which everyone has to face difficulties sometimes in getting their human rights. Violence happens by many big group leaders, sometimes on the basis of religion, sometimes on the basis of caste. They do all this violence only for their personal benefit.

If all the people who protect the law, whether it is the police, lawyer, judge, judiciary, do their work properly, then the crimes which are increasing day by day will decrease to a great extent. There is a saying that if the police comes to its senses, then not even a slipper can be stolen from the temple.

But I will also say that this is not only the work of the police, the common citizen will also have to provide his full cooperation in maintaining law and order. Because if everyone wants the benefit of the Constitution, then everyone will have to provide cooperation.

Therefore, it is very important for everyone to know about all their human rights. Therefore, it is important for a person to be educated. So that he can exercise his rights. Which are the fundamental rights of an equal citizen, such as many schemes of the government, assistance, legal aid, education, schemes made for the field of education, old age pension scheme, it is important to know about all these and the government should also run such campaigns about the schemes made by it so that the society and the common citizen can get maximum benefit from it.

Our government has made a plan to provide electricity and gas cylinders to everyone. People of the lower class can take maximum advantage of this and live their life easily. And also keep in mind that those who create obstacles in getting these rights, there should also be a provision for punishment for them.

I mentioned any organisation in your region that has jurisdiction over human rights. In your opinion, how useful it has been and how its operation has influenced respect for human rights in your country

Rashtriy Manav Adhikar Aayog Sangathan is a major human rights organization of India. The National Human Rights Commission was established in 1993 under the Human Rights Protection Act. The main objective of this organization is to investigate cases of violation of human rights of citizens and to punish the culprits.

The organization is doing its work very well, but the commission lacks adequate powers and resources. Due to which their working capacity is affected and along with this there are difficulties in implementing the decision of the commission. The problems coming under human rights are religion related, caste related, protection of women, education related, child labor etc. Such problems come under the investigation of this organization.

Have you or someone close to you been a victim of human rights violations? If so, what was the situation and were you able to assert your rights?

By the grace of God, I or any of my close relatives have not been a victim of human rights violation. But still I see that the government is widening the roads nowadays keeping in view the traffic. But this is good for traffic. But to widen the roads, many roadside shopkeepers are becoming unemployed and the government takes away a large part of the front of many shops and merges them with the road, so this is creating a problem for the human rights of those shopkeepers and the roadside shopkeepers, whose livelihood depends on this, are not getting any kind of compensation and neither are they able to arrange for their livelihood from such a place.

Case study 1

It is very sad that a woman's son was killed even after stealing. But the criminals of that woman's son have been punished. They are serving their sentence, so for what more justice will the woman file a complaint now. No one can compensate for the loss suffered by the woman. But the law says that the culprit should be punished and the culprits have been punished, so I don't think that the human rights of the woman have been violated here.

Case study 2

As it was told in this case that a person dies due to beating by police officers, then the same law should be applied here as is applicable to other common people. Who gave the right to the police officers to beat a person so much that he died. And the family members of the victim did not get any compensation for it nor any kind of investigation was done. They are still wandering from door to door to get justice.

Any kind of officer or a common citizen, no one has the right to take someone's life. Here I strongly condemn the collusion of the government and the officers, who did not value a person's life at all. The guilty are roaming freely and the innocent are making rounds of the office.

Here the human rights of a person and his family have been completely violated. The officers should be investigated and punished. Only then will the common citizens have faith in the law.
