Apeswap.Finance: An Underrated Yield Farming Protocol
It has been a long time coming, so the current popularity of decentralized finance (DeFi) is no surprise. While noobs and most of the crypto herd have their gaze stolen by the big DeFi platforms, the diamonds in the rough – Apeswap and a few others – remain hidden beneath the dirt. In this piece, we intend to dissect Apeswap.finance, so you know why it’s such an underrated platform.
Apeswap Finance Is A Working DEX
Despite how important a DEX is to a yield farming protocol, most DeFi platforms don’t have it. Many of the big guns out there that have stolen the spotlight lack a DEX. So it’s intriguing to see a DEX on Apeswap.finance.
For most people, a DEX on a yield farming protocol isn’t exactly phenomenal. Perhaps, this is true, but it offers an opportunity for growth. New projects can list their tokens on the Apeswap.finance, generating trading fees as communities swap assets. That revenue can give the protocol a massive boost.
Apeswap.Finance Is Secured
The underbelly of any decentralized finance protocol is security. It’s one of the reasons why traditional financial institutions are still in contention despite their poor offering. It’s commendable to see that Apeswap has done its homework in this regard.
The GEMZ audit confirms that only the MasterApe contract is capable of minting new bananas. Also, the risk of exploits or rugpull is nearly non-existent. And that’s a plus for such an underdog in this business.
Apeswap Has Farms and Pools
Unlike the average yield farming protocol, Apeswap has a large number of diverse LP pools, from the BNB-Banana LP to the BAT-ETH LP. So anyone can put their assets to work and have $Banana.
The APRs available aren’t the largest among the increasing number of yield farming protocols on the BSC, but it’s good for the valuation of $Banana since an excess supply of the native token can have an impact on its price.
Fear of impermanent loss is quite serious in the crypto space, so it’s great to see there are single staking pools on Apeswap where users can stake single assets and get more of the tokens. Though the available staking pools are limited, it’s a start.
Apeswap Native token
Fueling the Apeswap ecosystem is its native token, $Banana. From afar, many investors might be wary of the $Banana minting capacity of the MasterApe, but the GEMZ audit report should allay all fears. The number of $Bananas minted follows a specific order, and there are different measures to keep the supply of the token in check.
Apeswap, like most yield farming protocols, organizes regular burning of $Bananas, which helps keep supply under check. If you are feeling lucky, you can have your $Bananas win you a massive amount of $Bananas in the lottery.
Final Thoughts
Apeswap has the potential to usurp the greats in the DeFi arena. If the community and the team stay the course, it’s only a matter of time before the protocol takes its rightful place at the top of the food chain. Hopefully, it won’t be long before we see that happen.

Good project. I have used their exchange several times. It's easy to use and secured.
You are right. The dex exchange is finely built with cool ux/ui
Nice swap platform with good gas fees
Thank you for your feedback and comment. The ApeSwap.Finance team really working behind scenes to putting everything in order. Kudos to them
Platform looks cool and transaction fee is minimal. I will try this out again
