The Roost Laptop Stand

Almost a billion people in the world use laptops. From homework to Office, They come in various sizes, designs, types and colors, but one thing that they share in common is that by using one for a long time; you start to feel pain in various parts of your body. The pain is common in the wrist, neck, shoulders and back. These pains are directly linked to heart disease and Motor Neuron disease. Sitting to a laptop for a long time may also cause ALS and bone weakening.

To solve these problems, James Olander; introduced the Roost laptop stand. He started with this as a mere problem he had where he would hunch over his laptop. The first Roost was very successful with a whopping 1000 shipments in 2 years.

The first Roost was a fixed height and the laptop could not close while it was on the stand. This event later led to the invention of Roost 2.0

The Roost 2.0 was more portable and reliant as it was smaller, lighter and height changeable. Roost 2.0 makes use of injection molding which allows for more functionality in a smaller package. It is height adjustable with three different settings with six inches to eleven inches depth. It also fits all models of laptop, allows you to close your laptop and is extremely stable then the first.
