Haha, still processing the memories that continually rise to the top the longer I am here, but the story will come in time.

I trained for 9 months, some of that involved meditating 18 hours a day... which I concluded was a bit over the top!

Oh my! 18 hours a day~~ whew! that's a lot. The most I've done is at numerous vipassana retreats- what, probably not more than 12 scheduled hours a day. I loved it, but I was able to get great sleep and take walks during the day during which I wasn't really meditating. <3

Oh maybe it was 11, I've done VIP too - it's awesome, but the first one is really really hard.

Eeek - 18 hours a day is tough! 11 hours I've done, for 10 days, and that near on killed me physically - mentally, I could probably do it again.

Ya, the physical aspect is the big challenge for me as well. My mind takes a little while to settle in, but once it does it doesn't really present further trouble.

I agree - the limits of the physical body, huh!
