The natural landscape of Weh in the morning.
Weh Island consists of small islands, one of them is Rubiah Island.

Look at PERTAMINA Harbor with Rubiah Island background. PERTAMINA is a state-owned company in charge of managing oil and gas mining in Indonesia.

Before World War II, this port was the site of Royal Dutch Shell oil facilities.
Then during World War II this place was controlled by the Japanese Navy to control the Malacca Strait from the arrival of allies.
