THE DUAL-LIFE DIVA

in Ladies Universe8 days ago

In the quiet ambiance of the classroom, there was a teacher sit on her chair very busy doing her paperworks. She is a teacher by proffesion and a mother of her only child with an OFW husband.

And I am refering to myself. I got married at the age of 28 on the year 2018 and on my age today I only got one kid who is still 6 years young. I got pregnant 2 years ago but I got miscarriage because of unknown reasons maybe because of my hormones. The baby just lost the heartbit when he/she was 3 months on my womb.

And now, I still embrace life and all the trials I encounter with a happy heart because I believe that everything happens for a reason. And being a working mom is never an easy task plus my hubby works a far. It is so difficult to do multitasking, and I am so grateful to my parents who helped me and guide me althroughout my journey.

Teacher is never just a profession for me, it is indeed a calling that requires heart, a lot of patience and balance over work and family. I call myself a dual diva because everyday is an act of juggling my responsibilities as a teacher and a loving mother. It really needs a lot of courage and should know how to balance home and school with grace and determination.

I arrived at school because 6 am because I belong to first shift and our time is from 6 in the morning until 3 in the morning. I arrived early carrying not one the test papers I had to give to my learners but also the weight of expectations from them. Exams were not just paper and ballpen but also it is all about building characters. Before we began the test or even during regular class, I always let them pray to remind the students that integrity matters over the grades.

While they took the test, I also do some paper works so that I will pass everything on time. Difficult, yet I had to conquer everything.

Thank you!

I'm sorry you lost a baby in you womb mam, I think it was one of the most challenging times a woman could ever pass. I haven't experienced it and I pray I will never have it
