In honor of Labor Day, here's what I think of you commie bastards and your unions

So unions are responsible for our "wonderful modern standard of living?" Do not try peddling your bunk to me.

I was watching Free Speech TV, and in honor of Labor Day today, they've been spewing their lefty "Workers unite!," "We are the 99%!" commie bullshit all day long, playing Woody Guthrie songs, and praising unions—and hearing all that populist/progressive drivel made me want to go on a shooting spree.

I was a member of two unions. The first one, I was forced to join because I was in Missouri, which was not a right-to-work state. The second time, they had to con me to get me to join them, because I was working in Kansas which was right-to-work.

My First Brush with Collective Bargaining

When I was 17, I joined the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers as an employee of the now-defunct Dobbs International Services at KCI. I was wrongly demoted twice. I filed a grievance both times and they did absolutely nothing about it, no matter how much I raised Hell.

My first demotion was because a newly-hired female, with less seniority than me, took a job that she couldn't hack, so they gave her my position and stuck me in hers. The next time it happened, it was because Braniff went under and, instead of moving me back to the position I was demoted from, per union contract, they let people bid on it and gave my job to someone else, also who had less seniority than me.

My Next Buggering at the Hands of the Union Mobsters

Then years later, I was in the Heavy Construction Laborer's Union , and was laid off when the project I was hired for was completed. They never got me another job, despite how the local union rep told me I'd get 'all these high-paying jobs' when that one ended, IF I only paid a week's pay to join their gang.

But no job for me ever, despite the fact that the site foreman and his boss above him liked me so much that they laid everyone else of first—and kept me as the very last man on the site for two months afterwards! Naturally though, despite that, they instantly found jobs for every lazy bastard on my job site, who played sick twice a week on average, just because they had more seniority than me.

Funny how in that case, as opposed to the last union I was in, seniority suddenly meant something, huh?

The right is wrong and the left is stupid

But don't take it to heart, liberals. I've told these stories and debated the issue with probably just about as many conservatives, who defended these protection rackets until they were blue in the face. Pro-union people (collectivists) may make the idea of labor unions sound like a great idea. But in my experience, their ONLY purpose for existing is to screw over the productive, skilled, hard-workers in order to benefit the useless, lazy and incompetent, whether they're left or right-wingers, as is the exact same case with their precious government.

Unions are nothing more than another sub-layer of crooks below politicians, who also use the same b.s. excuse of "protecting my rights" to take my earnings against my will. The unions, in turn, take what they've stolen from me to further support those politicians, usually the scumbags who are against right-to-work. That way, the unions hope to gain even more captive slaves that they too can skim from. It's like a vicious circle of parasitic, collectivist scum.

But I've been listening to shows like Democracy Now! and the like all day as I've been working, as they talk of what a godsend unions were, crediting them with giving us our paid holidays, good pay, a 40-hour work week and the like. Well, if you think the same way, you can take your claptrap elsewhere .

Forty-hour workweek? I've worked very few 40-hour weeks in my life. Most of them have been 50-60 hours long, and despite that, I've never made much over $20,000 at any point in my life, especially as a member of any trade union. Way to go unions!

Aside from the government that all you statists will vote for in order to boss me around and steal my property, to fund your police, military, healthcare, your kids' schooling, and all of your other political goodies in a few months, I could make a damn good argument that unions have actually been at least partly responsible for how my standard of living has been circling further and further down the drain throughout my life.

So I guess, in conclusion, what I'm saying is: screw you and your union—both of them.
