🔥Top Shelf Cannabis Review #4:🔥 Peppermint Cookies [Hybrid] Hash Rosin by Polar Icetracts (& GoldLeaf Gardens); Seattle, Wa
If you like Rosin(which you should!), you would completely fall in love with this wonderfully flavored Peppermint Cookies Hash Rosin from Polar Icetracts , which was originally grown by Goldleaf Gardens..
The packaging is top notch as well, which goes along way in this flooded market...
This is well known as some of the best concentrates in the #seattle #cannabis industry, and honestly the world in my opinion, but then again who really knows yet with such a young industry.. only time will tell. Nevertheless I always enjoy anything I pick up from Polar Icetracts and/or Goldleaf as you may know from a previous Goldleaf review about Grape Diesel flower. But this Hash Rosin is some of the best concentrates I can find to not only get me on the level I like to be, but in a healthy, Clean Green Certified manner. Surely after years and years of cannabis usage there comes a time to start finding healthier alternatives to traditional smoking methods, and this is one of those solutions! Not only is Rosin much healthier for you and made with no chemicals, it is a much smoother smoke altogether which is always nice when smoking cannabis frequently.
The constitency is very clay like and almost breaks like a cold brittle butter when you poke at it w/ a dabber..
This is one of those 'keep cold' type concentrates, that operates best when fresh out of the fridge. While I have not let it get all warm and goopy, I would assume it becomes very pasty if you do. But if you keep it properly it basically feels and looks like a perfect small clay mound and breaks down like such as well, it's very easy to size your dab well and not messy at all.
The flavor is very smooth, clean and doesn't have any super bitter tastes as i've experienced with some other rosins on the market...
Now don't get me wrong, I know what Rosin flavor is and I'm still getting acclimated to it, but some Rosin just tastes flat out funky, such as anything made from Lavender flower and I just don't see myself getting past that distaste, but this Hash Rosin is on another level altogether when it comes to flavor, not only is the Rosin side of it not overpowering, you can almost taste the peppermint cookies flower as well! No crazy powerful rosin flavor overtaking and overshadowing everything else, not this time! 10/10 in the flavor department, for sure.
At $66/g it's a bit spendy, but if you look for sales it's not half bad and/or maybe you just love #cannabis as much as me, you're happy to pay these prices for the best!
While I don't exactly go hunting for deals as it would require too much time, the stores i frequent do have loyalty programs and what not so from time to time I can get a 20% off or something similar, but generally I pay full price and don't mind doing so simply because thats the cost of good products these days, it's the same with organic foods, nice cars and everything else in life and the same can be said about cannabis. All in all I do my best to mind a budget but to be honest #cannabis is one of the few things in life that makes me excited to get up in the morning.
The high is very happy, and stoney without being too sedative. The more you smoke, the more you'll find yourself giggling and enjoying the day.
This is one of those perfect for mid-day smokes, or anytime in the day you just want to take the edge off and relax a little bit without getting any weird couch locking effects as you would get with an indica for example. Not only is this strain great for relaxing, it makes for a wonderful social strain as well, your friends will LOVE it, I promise. You guys will find yourselves pulling the old SNES out of the garage before you know it! Or maybe you'll just end up all being lazy and watching a movie, why not go find out?

If they get the rosin too hot when pressing they can mess up the terpenoid profile, which effects the flavor. If it's done properly you should end up with most of the terpenes in tact. Also, if the grower added sulfur to solve a powdery mildew issue or something like that, it can end up concentrated in the extract. I like to let the terpenes polymerize before doing the rosin process. I just end up with a better product than live resin.
Rosin is the future! It's the best.
Much better than blowing up your house with butane ; )
Not to mention the lack of a 'butane headache' from smoking too many dabs... thats the main reason I've been switching to Rosin to be honest, makes me feel like I'm harming my brain lol!
wow, I'm interested in your knowledge of rosin. Definitely following and looking forward to your future posts!
