Cannabis Product Review: Garden Society Edibles - Bright Blooms and Bliss Blossoms - Dr. Emily Earlenbaugh
Cannabis Product Review: Garden Society Edibles - Bright Blooms and Bliss Blossoms - Dr. Emily Earlenbaugh @emilyearlenbaugh
I have been wanting to try out Garden Society’s edible line for a while now because I love their branding and concept, and recently had the opportunity when I reviewed them for Cannabis Now Magazine (article forthcoming). I have to say I was not disappointed.
The packaging was beautiful. Their brand concept is low dose edibles aimed at women - which is smart because more and more women are using cannabis. According to some studies, the women using cannabis now outnumber the men. With so many cannabis products designed to appeal to the young male demographic, it was nice to enjoy my marijuana in a form that is so pretty and refined.
I decided to enjoy my treats in my garden - since it felt fitting :)
Yum! These looked pretty tasty when I opened up the boxes!
Bright Blooms
I started with the Bright Blooms - sweet gourmet gellees flavored with strawberry basil and passionfruit. They were incredibly delicious. Each one is dosed with 5mg of THC from a sativa hybrid strain. These are very low dose so you can enjoy the candy without having to worry about getting too stoned, making them great for parties, or microdosing. The box only has 40mg’s in the whole thing. It left me with a very light buzz, which was almost not noticeable, but did put me in an uplifted mood.
Bliss Blossoms
Later, I tried some Bliss Blossoms. These are definitely my favorite. Not only do they melt in your mouth with super yummy milk-chocolate, they are made with 10mg’s of a 1:1 indica strain that I found very relaxing and pain-relieving. Maybe 30 minutes after eating, I felt my shoulders relax and knew they were working. 2 hours or so later, I started to feel sleepy. These have enough of a dose to feel more like a regular edible - but not so much that you can go too far. They are perfect for newbies and those with a low tolerance.
Both products were really tasty and beautifully packaged. I would definitely get them again.
Garden Society is based in Sonoma County California, and can be found throughout the greater San Francisco Bay Area.

Ohhh!!! Fabulous! I've recently gotten access to some jelly bean like edibles and they are lovely. I've gotten into the practice the past of making my own with coconut oil, butter originally, but now I'm thinking to just buy these and save the hassle of a smelly kitchen once a month. LOL
This is my goto recipe I came up with myself, check it out! Nuke Proof Coffee
Liked and followed too. I credit low dosage cannibis with helping me tremendously in coming out of deep anxiety and stress the past three years. For me it lit the bridge to the darker parts of myself that even I was afraid of and helped me see it's just me on the other side crying for help and love and support. I never knew there was a bridge until pot helped light it up for me to see. <3
Thanks again for your post. It's important to share this stuff for the emotional well-being of all.
Thanks for your comment @epiphany - it's great the low dose edibles have helped you so much. I'm actually working on a piece about using edibles for anxiety (for Cannabis Now Magazine). Would you have any interest in being interviewed about your experience?
Yes, absolutely! I've learned so much, if it can help others I would be more than willing to talk about it. Thank you for asking! :)
Great! What is the best way to contact you?

Love the review. Ladies need to be catered too as well as men. 51% of the population, c'mon. I've made the mistake on overdoing it with edibles and it's not fun. A great way to work people on to marijuana infused edibles without scaring them with an outrageous high!
Thanks for reading @wakeupsheeps !
Nice review. It's a shame they say they're marketed towards women because some of us young males also enjoy a more refined, classy looking product. Ah well, I'd still buy them regardless.
Thanks @the-dagda - I hear you, there is actually a lot of shift in branding towards more refined gender-neutral cannabis products as well. But these taste and work just as good no matter your gender :)
And the taste/effects are the important thing really. I mean they could be Hello Kitty or Barbie branded and, as long as they got my stoned, I'd still end up buying them, haha.
agree, some of the products out there are just way too much. I enjoy it when my edible is dosed to provide a smooth and comfortable high
Nice post these edibles have great presentation, packaging looks good, an low doses even my girlfriend can enjoy. I would definitely like to pick some of that up; do you know if they are available in Canada? I'm so use to the powerful edibles which is good for me, but when my girl eats them she already passed out before we get to enjoy the high together. It's nice that a company is looking out for the ladies while providing a tolerable high. I see more and more woman choose edibles over a joint, I just hope we can provide a proper channel so everyone can enjoy these treats. Dope post I have upvoted, followed, an resteemed. 🙏🙏

Great review! They look really tasty, especially the chocolate ones.
Thanks for the kind words @jdawg
I want some so much. Keep up the great work in turning people on to the power of this amazing teacher plant.
much appreciated @anarcotech :)
You're welcome...if you ever need a product tester by the way....... ?!??!!??!
These look delicious. Sometimes just a little bit of THC is all you need, it's nice to see edibles that aren't super strong.
So true @heymattsokol !
Wow. We've come a long way. We are now openly reviewing marijuana. And what a concept , edible bit size morsel lace with favorite strand of marijuana. Just ofut of this world thinking, but a sign of the times.
It's definitely a new world out there... I never expected to become a cannabis journalist, but I am happy to have found my way to it.
