Galaxy Club - Waegwan S. Korea

I was doing a Google Maps search to see what the layout passed old Gate 4 in Camp Carrol was these days.

Completely transformed is putting mildly.

Some of the old staples like Country's Restuarant is still the same. But the nightlife has completely been decimated, if Google Maps is accurate.

Galaxy was nestled in between a lot of clubs, you had to walk down a small alley with the door of the building being on your right.

Nice folks, always a live band on the weekends who played a variety of requests. Drinks were cheap depending on when you went, during the week you could find deals. (i.e. tap beer like Hite on a Wednesday).

In the 10 years or so since i've been its hard to accept how much can change. 10 Years is a long time. Seems like the club isn't around anymore, similar to AMVETS in the same proximity. I think they have a facebook page but I don't have FB and the google search I found shows it hasnt been updated since 2016.

Great place to unwind and watch plebs get stupid while you just chill.
