Korea confirms Block Chain Association Firstly
According to an industry related on the 16th, the Korea Block Chain Industry Promotion Association (KBIPS) received approval as a private association for the first time. The association applied for the registration of the corporation in December 2017.
"We received by verbal and we understand that we will get the certificate soon." said a representative for the Korea BLOCK Industry Promotion Association. "If it becomes a division corporation, it will be able to participate in government order service projects such as research and public projects." said a representative.
The Korea Block Chain Industry Promotion Association, which is based on IT companies such as Kakao, also has financial institutions such as Woori Bank and KEPCO as its members. In addition, Samsung Electronics has conveyed its intention to sign up, and in some cases, executives have joined members in their own capacity.
