Self votes are not the problem here. The problem is when people are keeping it all to themselves. That collectively harms the whole community.
You were doing exactly that. And that's why you got punished. Many users have gone through that and they either left steeemit or reformed themselves.
thanks for your message. i considered to leave steemit when getting down vote, so there are some people worry about it and want to know the whales’ guideline for down vote if they want to share it. so wrote this post to share your idea.
anyhow, i thought you don’t allow any self vote but if not, good to hear that.
i did self vote but also shared my earnings to the others by giving sbd, sending hard books or else to keeping steem/sbd in steemit community. cannot judge it only see the rate of self vote. and now i even give vote to other users - with any method - i am doing many events for other users to give a fun in steemit community and attract new users - i am also thinking of the good way for steemit.
later, if my activity is suit for your idea, please kindly share it as this time and i am willing to follow it and upgrade mine. -when some people get down vote, they don’t know why - sharing ideas is very healthy for making a better community i think.
