Yesterday was the 4th of July. America became independent in 1776. So, that makes America 249 years old. One more year to go for the big celebration!! Yippee~

Independence Day is observed every year on July 4. What do we do on this day? People get together with their family members and have a cookout (BBQ) have a patriotic parade, do fireworks and do other red, white and blue festivities.
