✔  Hassan tower

               The historic building "Hassan silo" is located in Rabat, the capital of the Kingdom of Morocco and its largest city. It was built by order of Sultan Yacoub Al-Mansour Al-Muhadi in the era of the Almohads in the year five hundred and ninety-three of the Hijra. This mosque is considered one of the largest mosques in that period. And the disappearance in the year one thousand seven hundred and fifty-five AD after an earthquake struck the city of Rabat.

            The remains of this historic edifice show the greatness and magnificence of the building. It rises from the surface of the earth by one hundred and eighty meters, and its width reaches one hundred and forty meters. It is built on an area that extends to two thousand five hundred and fifty square meters. In the Middle East, and gives indications of the importance of Rabat in the era of the Almohad state.   

             Due to the historical importance of the building, the UNESCO World Heritage Site has included it in the cultural list on the first of July of the year one thousand nine hundred and ninety-five.

  ✔  The advantage of the mosque

               The prayer hall in the mosque extends to an area of one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two meters. This area is considered an area that no other mosque has ever spanned, and the prayer hall occupies a group of dishes, one of which is large. Near Al Manar, and two other dishes are located next to the center of the large courtyard.
