More Kimchee
Thursday morning there will be a huge national college entrance exam in Korea and stress is in the air. Students prepare their whole lifetime for this moment and all I can really think about is kimchee. I love spelling the word with two ees and no i. This week our family will make loads and loads of kimchee like a small mountain on the balcony.
I still teach English every day in the Korean schools and sometimes how I ever get through all that I do in one day. When it comes to elementary school teaching is not about a subject but it is about children. The come in the classroom each day with so many problems. The class should be a haven of rest not a place of more stress. Two weeks ago I was at wits end and learned that they really are only little kids who need a mom and dad. Anyway I made this chant for our sixth grade lesson. The key expression is kind of lame but I did what I could with it.

My family kimchi is next weekend. I harvested my homegrown moo earlier today and I will harvest my baychew saturday. Hopefully it survives the frost tonight. My work won't let me come in delayed tomorrow. In anycase, I'm busy.
Great. You are going to have some healthy kimchee. I love Bae Chewy and Doogie Kkak. We bring our materials into the living room if it is too cold. I think you should be already. Last night was the only frost. Best to you and your loved ones.
