"The Cure Live In Japan" wurde am 17. Oktober 1984 in der Nakano Sun Plaza in Tokio aufgenommen und ausschliesslich in Japan veröffentlicht. Für die VHS-Kassette müssen Sammler heute mehrere hundert Euro hinlegen. Auf DVD ist das Konzert leider nie erschienen. Bei YouTube hochgeladen wurde das Video vom damaligen The Cure Schlagzeuger Andy Anderson.
