Result of a random food hunting trip in Petaling street today: We were heading to the super well-known instagrammers’ cafe on the same street initially, yet the queue’s way too insane.

And so we discovered this low-profile eastern themed cafe, Cho Cha Foodstore. This rustic retro feeling cafe is a former brothel, serving oriental fusion; in love with the meticulously prepared food that highlights every element on the plate, especially the use of fresh ingredients and spices that take good care of every spoon bite’s flavour and taste.

We’ve tried the Pan-seared Barramundi (Ginger chutney, cauliflower cous cous) and Duck Confit Rice (Pan-seared duck confit, duck fat barley rice, ajitama egg, house pickled local salad). Both are equally yummy! 😋 .
