The problem on steemit is that power is so arbitrary, any asshole can decide that they don't like plagiarism, even if they don't know what the fucking word means, and then go around flagging posts calling them plagiarism and there is not anything you can do about it. Nothing like that can survive long, that's a big turnoff for most people.

  • Agree that is a problem here. I see some bot has downvoted magic8ball to a 3 reputation. I always got a chuckle out of magic8ball and see no reason for it to be flagged.
    • I do think that problem can be solved once we get communities and such. Or maybe it will take a dapp to help isolate groups and boot people from our playground who do stupid stuff like that...

That's why I always upvote @haikubot, that shit cracks me up.
My fear is that will just create echo chambers like you see on disqus where they kick out anyone who disagrees.
