Journey through selling & buying a house
We are in the process of selling our house and buying another AT THE SAME TIME, with two kids and 3 dogs!
It's a stressful, choatic, and super busy. Honestly, I've found tools that have worked to keep it less crazy and more organized.
We packed everything up we didn't need on a daily basis, we downsized toys, and clothes. We switch over to paper & plastic product for eating, this creates less dishes to do and you can recycle them after you're done.
Making the beds in the morning, and cleaning any messes right away. Doing a load of laundry daily and putting them away.
All these tips have helped keep the house clean and organized for when a showing request comes in, it creates less work for me to do right before we have to leave.
I usually vacuum and mop right before walking out the door.
Giving the kids jobs to do to help be involved, has helped create less anxiety over moving.
