in #kids2 years ago

Once upon a time, in a far-off land, there lived a kind and gentle king and queen. They had been married for many years and had longed for a child of their own. But, no matter how hard they tried, they could not have a baby.

One day, a wise old woman came to the palace and told the king and queen that they could have a child if they went on a journey to the top of a nearby mountain and brought back a magical flower that grew there. The king and queen were overjoyed at this news and immediately set out on their journey.

The journey was long and difficult, but the king and queen were determined to find the magical flower. They climbed steep hills and crossed treacherous rivers, but they never gave up. After many days of wandering, they finally reached the top of the mountain and there, growing in a clearing, was the most beautiful flower they had ever seen.

The king and queen picked the flower and brought it back to the palace. They placed it on the windowsill in their bedroom, and that very night, the queen gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. They named her Cinderella, and she was the most precious thing in the world to them.

Cinderella grew up to be a kind and gentle girl, just like her parents. She loved to play in the palace gardens and to help the cooks in the kitchen. But, despite her happy life, Cinderella was always aware of the fact that she was different from the other children in the palace.

You see, Cinderella's parents were wealthy and powerful, but her father had a wicked stepmother who wanted nothing more than to take control of the kingdom for herself. She had two daughters of her own, who were cruel and spiteful. They often made fun of Cinderella and treated her like a servant.

As Cinderella grew older, her stepmother and stepsisters became even crueler. They made her do all the household chores, and they would not let her attend the palace balls and other events. Cinderella was heartbroken, but she never let her sadness show. She knew that one day, her prince would come and take her away from all her troubles.

One day, the king announced that there would be a grand ball in the palace, to celebrate the prince's birthday. Cinderella's stepmother and stepsisters were thrilled, and they immediately set about getting ready for the event. But, Cinderella was not allowed to attend.

Feeling sad and alone, Cinderella went to her room and cried herself to sleep. But, as she slept, a miracle occurred. A fairy godmother appeared to Cinderella and, with a wave of her wand, she transformed Cinderella's rags into a beautiful ball gown. She also gave her a pair of glass slippers and a coach made of a pumpkin.

Cinderella thanked her fairy godmother and set off for the palace. When she arrived, everyone was amazed at how beautiful she looked. The prince was instantly smitten with her, and they danced the night away.

But, Cinderella had to leave the ball before the clock struck twelve, or else her fairy godmother's spell would be broken and she would turn back into a servant. The prince searched the kingdom for the owner of the glass slipper, but only Cinderella's foot fit it perfectly.

Cinderella and the prince were married in a grand ceremony and they lived happily ever after. Cinderella's stepmother and stepsisters were banished from the kingdom, and Cinderella's kindness and gentle spirit won the hearts of the people. She became a beloved queen and ruled the kingdom with her prince by her side.

The moral lesson of the story of Cinderella is that inner beauty and kindness are more important than outward appearance, and that good things come to those who are patient and never give up hope. It also teaches that despite facing difficulties and mistreatment from others, it is important to maintain a positive attitude and to always treat others with kindness and respect. Additionally, it is a reminder that even in difficult circumstances, there is always hope for a better future.
