Why It Is Important to Organize Blockchain Meetups?

Every day the popularity of the blockchain technologies is increasing and the number of companies that want to introduce this technology into their business grows. Therefore, the blockchain meetups are held in large cities on a weekly basis. People need information and KickCity understands the need to speak to more companies about the blockchain technology.

Discussions help to identify important information, and the conversation helps to gain new knowledge. People need to exchange their ideas — thus, we decided to organize the first KickCity blockchain meetup.

It is very important for us to talk and share knowledge with other countries’ representatives, since KickCity is an international company. We believe that the experience of other cultures and their views on using the blockchain technology will bring great results.

Helsinki is a large and developed citywhere technologies are born. Its residents are modern people who are interested in developing their city and improving the quality of their lives. It was very interesting for us to cooperate with our Finnish colleagues, so wedecided to hold our meet-up in this wonderful city.

Atmosphere at the meet-up was very friendly. The guests had lively discussions and asked our speakers a lot of questions. Several topics were provided for the discussion, such as: “Blockchain technology and law”, “Cryptocurrency and its use in business” and “Smart contract applications”.

Despite being in Moscow, Gideon Gibson, KickCity’s CEO, gave his presentation at the meet-up via a video call and explained how to connect people with the blockchain technology. Also, we met a lot of interesting people at the meet-up, including the founder of the Meet-Up Ethereum Helsinki — Mikko Valjakka.
