Keanu Reeves has been doing so much good recently that fans have started a petition requesting he be named Time's 'Person Of The Year.'

We currently live in a time where celebrity's lives are out there for all to see more so than ever before. Sadly, that has led to some pretty horrible and often downright dark aspects of some people's lives coming to light. That's why good news about a truly good celebrity is welcomed at every opportunity, and right now there is none better than Keanu Reeves.

Despite Reeves having been in the spotlight for decades, for some reason in 2019 he has become Hollywood's favorite son. Not only due to his recent actions, but also because of things from his past that are coming to light. It is becoming more and more evident that Reeves is not only a very kind man, but he is also an extremely humble one.

Reeves has demonstrated in the past that he doesn't do what he does for recognition. However, his fans don't seem to care about that. That's why they have started up a petition at Change.org to have Time name the actor its Person Of The Year. The description reads "Keanu is the most wholesome person alive, make him the person of the year!" and so far it has a whopping 56,000 signatures.

In the past, Reeves has given part of his share of the profits to the crew on The Matrix citing that they were the ones who made the movie, and also took a pay cut while working on The Devil's Advocate so Al Pacino could be brought on board. Also while working on The Matrix, he gave a crew member $20,000 after learning that he was having financial trouble.

While Reeves is clearly a great guy, the last two groups to be named Time's Person Of The Year might signify that the magazine is looking for someone even more worthy. In 2018 it was awarded to journalists around the world who continued to report in the face of persecution. The year before that, it was bestowed upon women who spoke out against sexual harassment amid the #MeToo movement.
