I Just Got Married with @mari-mari in Signagi at January 27 and Our Story

in #justmarried7 years ago

Hello Steemians,

it's more than 2 weeks since I got married but I have not posted yet. We hired a Photographer and were waiting for the pictures. So, that's the reason for delay. But I want to post about it now. It's Valentine's Day and this post has double interest. I also want to share the pictures with you.

How I met her

It's really different and unique story we have how we met one another. In 2011, when I studied on Bachelor's degree, I wanted to add a friend from university on Facebook. I accidentally found a girl with same surname but different first name. There was a picture and she was like my university friend. I added her but realized that she was other one. Then maybe for two times we texted each other. It was just that and we kept each other as Facebook friends.

What happened next is interesting

It was May 14, 2017 when I decided to start a conversation with her and get know this person better. We started messaging on Facebook and it got very engaging. We laughed, smiled, felt so many emotions and got interested with each other. It was like the feeling where we were before. Since that point, our conversations became daily and we liked it. We really found soulmates. It was so clear.

I can't say the exact time when we loved one another because it was the process. All those little things made us to love. I am so, so happy that I can't explain it with any words. I wish everyone to feel that way we do. We are on the cloud 9.

Little words about our country

We are from Georgia. This is the country on the border of Europe and Asia, Black and Caspian Seas. It really has influences from European and Asian cultures but at the same time we have our own unique culture. It has been scientifically proven that wine making began in Georgia, 8000 years ago. We have our unique language with its alphabet that is 1 in 14 ones in the world. We had a big history with Monarchy. Our religion is Orthodox Christianity since 324 A.D. when Saint Nino came to Georgia with grapevine cross and spread the message in the country. There are lots of other things I would like to talk about but let's go back to the main topic.

Our Wedding

Everything brought us to this wonderful day, January 27 which is Ninooba (the day when Saint Nino died) and she died there were we had our wedding and it is village Bodbe. Mari is from there and lives there and now, I am writing this post from Bodbe. This is at Kakheti region which is in the east of Georgia.
