"Prostitution Is The Oldest Form Of Slavery, Not The Oldest Profession.. It Is Barbarian!"

in #justice7 years ago (edited)

The prostitution myth of "Get rich.. Work in prostitution", is just that, a myth by big corporate propagandists that profit from all sorts of prostitution.

Prostitution is not the oldest "trade" in the world, it is exploitation, slavery and gender-based violence that men invented to subdue and keep women at their sexual disposition.  Some "progressives", especially men and brothel "entrepreneurs" who generously fund "currents of opinion", are lately encouraging the debate on the need to "regulate" prostitution of women.  That is, to turn this violence into a profession like any other for women.  How can we educate for equality in a society where girls will know that their future can be prostitution, seeing others show themselves in shop windows in the Dutch Red Quarter style, and boys will know that they can use them for their sexual enjoyment if they have enough Money to pay for it?

Prostitution is a form of exploitation that must be abolished and not a profession to be regulated.

It is a form of gender violence: "what prostituted women have to endure is equivalent to what in other contexts would correspond to the accepted definition of sexual harassment and abuse.  The fact that an amount of money is paid can transform that abuse into a "job", which is called "commercial sex work".

To regulate prostitution implicitly legitimizes patriarchal relations: it is equivalent to accepting a model of asymmetrical relations between men and women, establishing and organizing a system of subordination and domination of women, annulling the work of several decades to improve the struggle for equality of women women. By legitimizing it, it becomes a support for the patriarchal control and the sexual subjection of women, with a negative effect not only on women and girls who are in prostitution, but on all women as a group, since the Prostitution confirms and consolidates the patriarchal definitions of women, whose function would be to be in the sexual service of men.  How are we going to educate our sons and daughters in equality with women behind the shop windows as merchandise or is it a possible future job for our daughters?

If we regulate prostitution, integrating it into the market economy, we are saying that this is an acceptable alternative for women and, therefore, if it is acceptable, it is not necessary to remove the causes, nor the social conditions that empower and determine women To be prostituted. Through this process, the normalization of prostitution is reinforced as an "option for the poor".

Why do men go to prostitution today in a society like Spain where there is no such level of sexual repression as there was 40 years ago? In a time of sexual freedom as the present, they resort to prostitution as an exercise of power and submission over another person with whom they do not have to have any consideration because they pay and must be at their service, making it an object of consumption . Many men, in social and personal relationships, experience a loss of power and masculinity, and fail to create relationships of reciprocity and respect. These are the men who go to prostitution, because what they are really looking for is an experience of total domination and control. This group of men seem to have problems with their sexuality and how to relate to 50% of the human race, which they believe should be at their service.

To presuppose that male sexual need is a biological need that can not be called into question, similar to nutritional needs, is manifestly contradicted by the fact that men and women spend long periods of their lives without sexual intercourse, and Without arriving at the fatal outcome that would have had the deprivation of food!  Men must solve their problems of socialization to learn to live without sexual and domestic servants.

Prostitution is never given in conditions of freedom; Is never the subject of a contract of sale between persons equal in rights and freedoms. The activity or the product is not sold, like any work, but the body itself without intermediaries. And the body can not be separated from the personality. In addition, only a lucky few will be able to set "limits," but most will have to satisfy prostitutes because they pay (a "client" whom a prostitute denies her a particular sexual act or a relationship without a condom, she can always rent to another woman Need to access your claim).

The view that repeated intrusions into the body and tolerated but unwanted sexual acts can be experienced without prejudice is at least doubtful. Women have referred on numerous occasions Sus estrategias para terminar rápidamente con el cliente, porque si las prostitutas necesitan y quieren dinero de la prostitución, no quieren la sexualidad prostitucional que, como tal, es una forma de "violación pagada".

Even if someone says they choose free-form prostitution, can we consider exploitation of free elections and gender-based violence? In the name of a conception of the human being as a person, of the common good and respect for human rights, the community has often considered it necessary to place limits on individual freedom (organ selling, slavery, drug abuse, etc.) Affirming that there are practices, however assumed that are supposed to be, that go against the most basic human rights. It must be remembered, however, that users of male prostitution do not care if the prostitute consents and is free, an issue that concerns them no less. In this sense, trafficking in women can not be separated with the legalization of prostitution, because trafficking is a consequence of the supply and demand that governs the prostitution business.

Who benefits from the regulation of prostitution? The pimps that happen to be denominated businessmen give them a bath of respectability. Hence his haste because he regulates. To white trading networks that become listed companies, such as Australia. It is the illegal business that moves the most money in the world, along with that of drugs and weapons. To the "customers", as this would put them in a normal situation.

We ask that, from the beginning, the law be applied. Pursue the pimps that camp for their letters, the clubs, the brothels of the road, that everyone knows. And that measures should focus on eradicating demand by denouncing, prosecuting and criminalizing the prostitute (client) and the pimp: Sweden penalizes men who buy women or children for the sex trade, with prison terms of up to 6 months or a fine, because it typifies this crime as paid violence. In no case is it directed against prostituted women, nor does it intend to punish or punish them. The novel logic behind this legislation is stipulated clearly in the government's literature on the law: In Sweden prostitution is considered as an aspect of male violence against women and children. It is officially recognized as a form of exploitation of women and children and constitutes an important social problem. Gender equality will remain unattainable as long as men buy, sell and exploit women, girls and boys by prostituting them. "In addition, another essential element of the Swedish legislation provides ample funds for full social services to be directed to any prostitute who wishes to leave that occupation, and also provides additional funds to educate the public against the historical prejudices of men.

Prostitution has always existed, they say.  Also wars, torture, child slavery, the death of thousands of people by starvation. But this is not proof of legitimacy or validity.

If we honestly want world peace, it is our duty to imagine a world without prostitution, just as we have learned to imagine a world without labor slavery, without apartheid, without gender violence, without infanticide or mutilation of female genital organs, to construct a world of dignity and love.

Prostitution is BARBARIAN!!!

Sort:

Prostitution is bad work as there is too much have to face. We know that due to earn money most of girls do it. Though they are prostitution but they are human and wr always have to see them respect. Where i live at that place prostitution is not allow and its illegal work but its still so many girls doing because they need of money and people take advantage of it.

I'm sorry to say, but comparing prostitution with slavery or apartheid is just ludicrous. I never slept with a prostitute but I went to bars where they worked some times and talked with a few. To be honest, these girls are not there to be enslaved, most of them are laying on their back because it is the easiest way to obtain the newest Iphone. Get over yourself.
