Diet with junk food

in #junk7 years ago

We all know that junk food is bad for our health and our weight. However, the so-called junk food diet can be a point of sanity if we are losing weight or find ourselves stuck on a plateau. The idea is to eat healthy all week, get physical exercise and enjoy a reward on the weekend.

Does the junk food diet work?
The junk food diet works when it is carefully planned. It is based on the idea that, after several days of consuming fewer calories than they burn, eating a little more speeds up the metabolism and generates a reserve of glycogen to train harder the next day.

In addition, it satisfies the cravings, so that it is easier to follow the diet the rest of the week. If you can eat pizza, chips or an ice cream at some point during the week, you will enjoy it without feeling guilty. However, the key to all this is still moderation, intuition at mealtime and learning to listen to our body.

Types of Junk Food Diets
The single day diet
It is the simplest junk food diet plan of all: it is based on the idea of eating one day a week something out of the diet. Planning a meal that we like and eating moderately is the key point.

It is a practical and easy way for someone with self control. The idea is to eat until we are satisfied, not until we overturn.

With this junk food diet, 90% of the time you eat healthily and without skipping one meal, and the other 10% you eat junk food. This method works best in women and in people who have a job where they sit for a long time, so they burn fewer calories. Heavy people, emotional eaters and people who have struggled for a long time with diets should avoid it as they may be too strict.

To implement this plan we must look at how many meals we make per month. For example, if we make 3 meals a day and a snack, we eat 28 times a month. So you can eat some junk twice a week.

The 80/20 plan
The strategy is the same as the previous plan but with 20% of junk food. Those who exercise often can choose this plan and those who are in the initial stages of a very large weight loss.

The Scrap Day Plan
This plan allows you to eat all you want for one day and strictly stick to healthy food for the rest of the week. It is not recommended for average people or those who go to the gym four times a week, but rather people who spend a lot of time on physical training.

The day before the junk food day we should eat few carbohydrates.
