Freedom Of Information Ireland The How To Guide , Ken Foxe
More indigestion to be had at the Irish State's trough. Ken Foxe Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT) lecturer & investigative reporter has made this guide available for freedom of information requests in Ireland. The Fianna Fail - Fine Gael strangle hold on power comes at any price. Current prices go from about Five Euro a wink and approximately Ten Dollars for a nod. But why use approximations ? With this easy guide you can find out exactly how hard they screw. Babies with the bathwater is a house speciality. Children make the bulk figures of the state's rapidly expanding homeless population. So bad is the homeless catastrophe that government will publish monthly figures many weeks after their due date.
Irish government is all about hiding things, keeping the populace in the dark, dirty deals and giving the public purse a good beating mostly by dubious expense claims. The government attitude is of complete cynicism and contempt for the Irish people. The disgrace is that politicians break state laws with impunity. The police force, Gardai is under political control to a great extent. THREE police commissioners have "resigned" after scandal upon scandal. Presently no commissioner is at the post for a number of months now. But these politicians are useless as crooks. They keep getting found out and could not care less. For this regime is above the law.
The main game in town is systematic Bank Fraud. 64 billion euro private speculator gambling debt was transfered to sovereign debt of the citizenry. The latest was 300,000 mortgages were over charged by the tracker interest fraud. This was deemed "a mistake". No culprits and no crime.
Minister Regina Doherty is typical of this despicable rabble. Pennies and cents aren't safe for this miserly lot.
As Ken Foxe stated, "Been in journalism a long time but kind of staggered to have a government department bare face lie to you about Regina Doherty allowance." More of that story is here from the journal Broadsheet http://www.broadsheet.ie/tag/ken-foxe/
The Phoenix is another of Ireland's best journals.
