God’s Warning Through Generations | Voice of God with Joseph Z

Explore Joseph Z’s insightful teaching on the days of Noah, examining the generational line from Adam to Noah and the prophetic significance of their names.

Joseph enlightens us about the days of Noah, guiding us to Luke 17:26, where Christ warns that the days of the Son of Man will be like the days of Noah. He takes us back to the beginning of creation to help us understand the days of Noah better, showing that there are ten generations from Adam to Noah. Genesis 6:11-12 reveals how the earth was corrupted before God. He explains that everyone except Noah and his family was affected by the wicked deeds of the fallen angels who had relations with women, creating what we know as the Nephilim.

Next, Joseph talks about the generations before Noah, as seen in Genesis 5:15: Mahalal begat Jared (whose name means "shall come down"), Jared begat Enoch (whose name means "to teach" or "to correct"), Enoch begat Methuselah (whose name means "when he dies, it shall come"), Methuselah begat Lamech (whose name means "one who’s in despair" or "lament"), and Lamech begat Noah (whose name means "comfort" or "rest").

Joseph points out the prophetic meaning behind these names, starting from Adam (which means "man"), Seth ("appointed"), Enosh ("mortal"), Canaan ("sorrow"), Mahalal ("the blessed God"), Jared ("shall come down"), Enoch ("to teach" or "to comfort"), Methuselah ("when he dies, it shall come"), Lamech ("despair" or "lamentation"), and Noah ("to comfort" or "rest"). Interestingly, when all these names are combined, they tell a story: “Man, because of his disobedience, is appointed to mortal sorrow, but our blessed God shall come down teaching that his death shall bring despairing rest.” The video: https://youtube.com/live/GYmM00XGEF4
