Continuing, he notes that the fall of man diminished language from a heart-to-heart thought exchange to guttural sounds, leading to the formation of specific words for communication. This change represented a departure from walking with the Lord, elevating the carnal and the natural over the spiritual. However, John 4:24 reminds us that God is spirit, and those who worship Him must do so in spirit and truth. Additionally, Romans 12:2 cautions us against conforming to this world but rather urges us to be transformed by renewing our minds. Therefore, God communicates with us today, and we discern His words through reading the Bible.
Joseph further urges us to align every word spoken to us with Scripture, as God’s word cautions us not to go beyond what is written. He emphasizes that God desires to continue communicating with us as He did with Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. Interestingly, Joseph reveals that we can grow into what God has for us by engaging with His word rather than indulging in endless scrolling on social media. He then highlights the importance of praying in the Holy Spirit, as it transcends our carnal mind, allowing us to tap into the spirit and helping us to move in all that God has for us.
