Jones Cup 2018 - Philippines (Ateneo) vs Canada (3D Global Sports) Live Stream

Ateneo Blue Eagles will represent Philippines in the 2018 William Jones Cup from July 14-22, 2018 at the Xinzhuang Gymnasium, New Taipei City, Taiwan. Ateneo is currently being coached by former Gilas Pilipinas Head Coach Tab Baldwin. The defending UAAP Champion will face teams from Canada (3D Global Sports) , Chinese Taipei, Indonesia, Iran, Japan, Lithuania and South Korea in the 40th William Jones Cup.

Ateneo is fresh from a successful summer preseason where they bagged the City Hoops, Filoil Flying V Preseason Cup, and the Breakdown Basketball Invitationals championships to go with their UAAP Season 80 title.

Although the Ateneo Blue Eagles are stacked with talent and height, head coach Tab Baldwin still factors in “size” as one of the biggest disadvantages of the team in the 2018 William Jones Cup.

The 6-foot-10 Angelo Kouame, 6-foot-8 Isaac Go, 6-foot-5 William Navarro and 6-foot-4 Patrick Maagdenberg bolster the 16-man Ateneo lineup bannered by 2023 Gilas Cadets Thirdy Ravena and Matt Nieto.
