Jogja Kembali Monument, Yogyakarta

Jogja Monument was rebuilt on 29 June 1985 over the idea of colonel Soegiarto, the Yogyakarta municipality in 1983. 422 names of heroes were killed in the Wehrkreise III (RIS) area between 19 December 1948 - 29 June 1949.

At this monument there is a historical museum which is also named the Yogya Kembali Monument Museum. This place is often visited by students. The collections in the museum include replicas, photographs, documents, various types of weapons and evocative forms of soup kitchens in the atmosphere of the independence war of 1945-1949
