横浜元町商店街には、誰でも使える豪華な公衆トイレ”元町オアシス”があります。

A good point of Motomachi shopping area is that there is a luxurious public toilet "Motomachi Oasis" that anyone can use.

商店街の中にある小さなビル。”元町オアシス”の緑の看板のあるエスカレーターを登ると、

こんなに美しいトイレがあるんです。おしゃれなホテルのトイレのようにきれいです！

A small building in the shopping street. When you take a elevator with a green sign of "Motomachi Oasis", you can see such a clean toilet. It is as beautiful as a toilet of a fashionable hotel!

なんと、個室の授乳室があります。ミルク用のお湯も完備されています。

Amazingly, there is private nursing rooms for mothers and fathers having babies. Hot water for making baby's formula is also available.

他にも、おむつ換え台、キッズスペース、テレビや椅子などあってちょっと休憩するのにぴったりです。

このトイレができてから、子連れでもとても商店街に行きやすくなりました。

日本の良いところは比較的綺麗なトイレがどこでも使用可能なところですね。また、最近授乳やおむつ替えスペースも最近充実してきてありがたいです。

こういった便利な設備があまりなかった一昔前に子育てしていた親たちは大変だっただろうな。。と自分が親になって思います。
