Something about お風呂(Ofuro, bathroom) and 浴槽(Yokusou, bathtub)
Nowadays, お風呂(おふろ, Ofuro) means bathroom. Ofuro that including bathtub, which is called 浴槽(よくそう, Yokusou) in Japanese, is the most common setting in Japan. Japanese families enjoy bathing after work, then take a rest.
According to some Japanese stories, there is an important function of Yokusou, which is "rebirth". Although not all Japanese know those stories about Yokusou, from generation to generation, they still keep this habit , install bathtub in their home.
When you travel to Japan, please try to enjoy the "rebirth time" and comment your feeling.
