That's very interesting. Do you have any information about average incomes in Jamaica in order to compare this figure of $1.90 per day?
A while ago, some Steem accounts posted what 1 SBD (Steem Backed Dollar) would buy in their locality and country - it varied widely around the globe. In some places, you could get a bar of chocolate, in others, it was enough for a family to live on for a day.
