Chi è l'educatore ambientale?

In questo mio secondo post voglio raccontarvi di un esperienza che mi sta cambiando la vita, fare l'educatore ambientale.

In this my second post I want to tell you about an experience that is changing my life, be an environmental educator.

Nell'ultimo mese ho incontrato quasi un migliaio di ragazzi dai 7 ai 12 anni, interagire con loro ti fa tornare bambino, la loro spontanietà, la loro "ingenuità" è qualcosa che negli anni si perde ma che racchiude in se il vero modo in cui dovrebbero essere affrontate le giornate. Con leggerezza!

In the last month I met almost a thousand boys from 7 to 12 years, interacting with them makes you come back child, their spontaneity, their "ingenuity" is something that in the years is lost but that contains in itself the true way in which days should be addressed. Lightly!

I miei incontri fanno parte di un progetto aziendale molto grande chiamato Ecology Cup (magari vi parlerò anche di questo nei prossimi giorni).

My meetings are part of a very big business project called Ecology Cup (maybe I'll talk about this in the next days).

Durante gli incontri, spiego ai ragazzi che cos'è e come gestire un rifiuto per trasformarlo in una risorsa, soffermandomi su una tipologia di rifiuto poco nota, gli oli alimentari esausti. 

Voi come li smaltite? Mi piacerebbe capire come funziona in altre parti del mondo.

During the meetings, I explain to the children what it is and how to manage a waste to turn it into a resource, focusing on a type of little-known waste, the exhausted food oils.

How do you dispose of them? I would like to understand how it works in other parts of the world.

Insieme ci mettiamo lì a sviscerare i vari argomenti e lavoriamo fianco a fianco nella realizzazione di elaborati grafici e video.

Together we get there to examine the various topics and work side by side in the production of graphic and video.

Più incontri faccio, più lavori realizziamo, più mi convinco che "Sono loro il nostro futuro" non è solo una frase fatta.

The more I meet, the more work we do, the more I get convinced that "They are our future" is not just a phrase.
