Israel to Attack Iran This Weekend?
If the Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Jarida can be believed, Israel has launched attacks inside Iran over the last month.
From Zero Hedge today:
Sources quoted in Al-Jarida said that two stealth fighters flew over Syrian and Iraqi airspace to reach Iran, and even targeted locations in the Iranian cities Bandar Abbas, Esfahan and Shiraz. Then the two ultra advanced fighter jets circled at high altitude above Persian Gulf—read Iranian—sites suspected of being associated with the Iranian nuclear program.
It was reported the aircraft was not picked up by radar, including Russian radar in Syria, leading to conclusion the US has given the Israelis some of its secret technology.
Zero Hedge believes open hostilities will commence this weekend.
Of course, the alternative is that Israel will be delighted by, and eagerly welcome any military escalation as it will give it a greenlight to strike not only Palestine, but the country it accuses of being the biggest supporter of Hamas, Iran.
In other words, there is a non-trivial probability that a war betwen Israel and Iran may break out as soon as this weekend, catalyzed by one of several potential triggers.
Recall a report earlier this month saying US troops may be placed under Israeli commanders responsible for battlefield decision making and would be expected to die for the defense of Israel.
I’m sure John Bolton agrees and will be directing Trump on responses to Iran after he takes on the role of national security advisor next month.

I'm not sure how credible Al-Jarida is but events in the world seem to be escalating exponentially by the second so I wouldn't be surprised if something does end up happening.
I don't think it will be this weekend but I do think something is going to happen in Syria soon that will be exploited by the US/Israel to intensify military operations in the region. But you don't need a crystal ball to see that.
