Why I am powering up

Steem has been growing at an incredible rate. The smt Icos that come out will help aid that growth, as well as drive new users to steemit.com. The massive market correction/crash will slow down active users a littlebit. However, Steem continues to grow at an impressive rate.

People view most cryptos soley as investments. Steem is different. Users invested in it view it as a social media platform, that pays to post. Not soley as a moneymaker, or free money. This is important, the content that i see on here actually has value. It is a legetimite place to blog for painters, travelers, analysts, writers, and more creative types. If it just drew in one liner posters who all upvoted via upvote bot, then it wpuld be a problem. However that is not the case. There is enough balance.

Even if Steem went to zero, id still be ahead. I literally put zero into buying steem. That being said, I plan to keep posting, and keep powering up. When I hit the milestone of 250 steem, I will then save up 200 and invest into an ico, collect another 100 steem, then save up 200 and repeat. My goal is to get to 500 steem powered up. Steem is a different kind of investment. An investment that is made easy to hold. In 2 years I can steem being worth 20$, or more.
