NEW INVENTIONS Magazine #8 - Series 2 - Hover Boards - Omni Hoverboard

We are a company that specializes in propeller-based hoverboards. Our mark-1 prototype managed to travel a total distance of 275.9 m (905 ft and 2 inches) to achieve a new Guinness World Records title for the longest distance traveled by a hoverboard.

From Quebec Canada, Alexandru Duru has invented the dual fan board, as a prototype. He began as a software engineer and strapped a motor with a fan to a plank of wood which has morphed into 8 propellers and 16 lithium batteries. After winning awards and setting records he is back in the design phase for a second prototype, this time with the public in mind.

The user is strapped into what appears to be ski boots attached to the board and uses a handheld controller. Again limited information is available as this is still in the design phase. The good news is that its design is focused on the public. I do not know how much the public would pay for a thrill that lasts 1.5 minutes. Lets hope the design has improvements on the usage time.
