I'm on Steemit!

This is the customary Steemit introduction post.

However...

...I completely froze just before beginning so I decided to use my OKCupid intro.

No, I'm not looking to hook-up. It just seemed easier! So here I am!

I've been called a workaholic...well, right after chocoholic. I believe they both suit me as I am addicted to them equally. I love to travel, and am partial to quiet beaches. I like the occasional clubbing but prefer long conversations in a nice pub. Don't let that fool you though. Deep down I'm a homebody who loves quiet days at home with my pets, playing Scrabble or curling up on the sofa and watching a movie.

I love scuba-diving (I am a certified Rescue Diver and moving onto my Dive Master license), going to the gym, listening to music, Sunday afternoons with jazz music, red wine and Scrabble, movies, books and spending time at home with my pets, 36 dogs and 4 cats.

I am the Founder of 'PAWSE FOR A CAUSE!', a concept which combines the love for the entertainment arts and the love for animal welfare to raise funds and The 'ALIVE' Project, a blueprint outlining the various challenges facing domestic animals and their communities and the initiatives being put in place to convert these challenges into opportunities to educate and raise awareness towards their right to life.

I write. I am currently in the final stages of completing my first ‘real’ publication. I discovered my love of writing at a very young age and started with just poems, you know, the typical writing styles of a teenager. As I grew older, I found writing to be somewhat therapeutic, and have often been told that I write in a way that makes the reader not only FEEL it but as if I'm having a casual chat with them.
