I was so eager to begin my steemit journey after @liltom told me about. He helped me in the signup process and I have been waiting eagerly for my account approval. The approval period was lengthy though but I'm glad I got approved and I can now begin steeming!!

HELLO STEEMIT!!

My name is Miriam Godwin Bassey. My friends call me mimibaby. I keep telling them I ain't a baby no more but they won't hear. I love the name though. I am the 4th child of my father whereas I am the 2nd to my mummy. I lost my mom at a very tender age. So I have happened to grow without motherly love and care. I miss my mom a whole lot. Nothing can be compared to a mother's love.

My birthday is on the 6th of September. I hail from Eket Local Government in Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. But all my life, I have lived in the City of Calabar in Cross River State. I have never been to my village ever since I was born.

MY EDUCATION:

I went to Holy Child College for my Nursery and Primary Education. I then had scholarship to study at the Chris Model High School located at Ikot Ekpene L.G.A, where I was a boarding student. The boarding experience exposed me to a whole lot. I also learned to many things as a boarding though there was a part of it I didn't love like the senior students beating and flogging. I am currently a second year undergraduate studying Foreign Languages in the University of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State. I have always loved the French guys and the way they speak and that partially prompted me to study the course which I am thriving very well.

A LITTLE OF ME:

I am a very beautiful girl👱. How do I know that? I know that because God said in the Bible that I am fearfully and wonderfully made. He also said that everything He made was good. I am very simple and ambitious girl. I love fun. I tend to be a little hot-tempered; a habit I am working on discarding. I discover that I tend to switch moods so often, I could be all smiles one moment and the next, I am frowning. Sometimes, nothing really happens; it just happens naturally. Most people tend to not understand that but I do hope my husband does😎. Yeah! I'm soon getting married! !

I am not a very emotional girl which make people sometimes question my having feelings and ability to love. I do have feelings. I love too. It's just that many things doesn't move me. I am a very principled girl and I don't joke with my principles. Above all, I love God. Reason being that without God, I am nothing.

My hobbies include singing, reading, playing scrabble😃😃 and dancer.

I am a talented and gifted singer, dancer and actor. God really really endowed me with those gifts and talents. I am much grateful!! I love music a whole lot.

I dream of becoming many things in life which I'm working towards achieving. One of such is being a great entertainer either in the movies industry, music or dancing world. I want to be a great woman of God. I want to be a motivator and inspirator. I want to be someone that will give hope to as many people that would come in contact with me.

As a lady, I don't believe in depending on a man for survival. I want to be an independent woman who will support her husband and not drain him. But my ultimate goal is making heaven and last.

Remember we are only sojourners here on earth. One day, we will all die and when we die, where will you spend your own eternity. Let us all run to Jesus! !

I think I have written enough.But before I pause, I want to so much thank @liltom for making me know this great platform. I believe I am going to enjoy it here as I will try as much as I can to contribute to the growth of the community.
