I'm a 26-year-old from Canada, which means you should all know already that I'm very, very nice and will apologize all the time.

Kidding. Sort of.

When I'm not slaving away at my final year of law school, I love to play video games and hang out with my pets. Currently, I'm addicted to Battlefield 1. And even though I kind of hate the new Call of Duty (the mechanics feel so weird!), I still play because I dig the fast-paced style of COD. Aside from multiplayer shooters, I play a lot of RPGs and puzzle games. I did dabble a bit in streaming last year, but I promised myself that 2018 was going to be the year that I take streaming video games more seriously and so...

Aside from my plans to use DTube to post some of my gaming clips, I hope to use Steemit to share some short stories and personal thoughts as well. I used to love creative writing and even posted on FictionPress.com and FanFiction.net when I was younger. I've been waiting for another opportunity to just delve into writing and love that Steemit is innovating this space. It's been a while since I wrote creatively, so everybody, please be nice :)!

In case you were wondering, the name "yobi" comes from a mix of my pets' names: my cat is named Yoda; my dog is named Obi.
