Hey there, I am Ellisif and I would like to introduce myself and my art to the Steemit community!
Hello Steemit!
My name is Ellisif Ýr Heiðdal and I am a 26 year old creative soul.
Originally from Iceland, I have lived in multiple places in the US as well as in Denmark throughout the years, and despite the many changes in my life I have always been able to express myself through the freedom of creativity and art.
I currently live in Denmark and work as a freelance textile and garment assistant while studying to become a full fledged tailor and patternmaker.

In my spare time I love exploring many different artforms and I always want to learn something new, whether it be different techniques to something I already know or a completely new way working with something all together. I know it's an impossible goal, but I want to be the all-knowing artist, never limited to the lack of knowledge!
I sell a lot of my creations and also do custom orders if that has any interest.
Some of the artforms I have immersed myself in the most would include (but are not limited to):
• Drawing (traditional and digital)
• Painting
• Photography
• Special Effects Makeup
• Sculpting
• Sewing
• Creating accessories
I plan on sharing photos of my work, both progress and final pieces, talk about my experiences and give advice if that is ever desired. I would love to hear what you think of my work and my plans and if you have any suggestions feel free to throw them my way!
At last I would like to share a small portion of my work below (some of it still in progress).
I would like to thank you for taking the time to read my introduction and I hope you've enjoyed your stay so far!
I can't wait to share more work with you and to hear your opinions.
Love,
Ellisif Ýr Heiðdal

Followed an upvoted! I look forward to see what you post! I am from Norway, so we are practically neighbours! If you like photographies, you should check out my latest post, I have taken pictures of some of the beautyful roses in Gimle botanic garden in Kristiansand. If you visit Kristiandsand in the summer, you have to visit it.
Thank you @dafro! I have never been to Norway but I would really like to visit sometime. I hear it's beautiful!
Welcome to Steemit !
What a fantastic waistcoat - You should be very proud of the ability to make such beautiful creations.
Thank you so much @rpettigrew. I love making waistcoats so I will most likely be posting more of those in the future!
I' have to follow you now, as I really want to see more of these!
I'm entering an eccentric phase of my life and a big part of it is fashion based. I'm an office worker who is bored of wearing the standard suit, so funky waistcoats are a must!
I have a couple of funky waistcoats planned at the moment, I'll most likely share my process from sketches to finished products along th way! I agree, a lot of menswear is (unfortunately) very standard and boring - no matter how well made it is. A little pop of detail can go a long way!
Definitely agree, its the little differences that make the most impact.
I'll look forward to seeing them.
