My Introduction! | Steeming Debate | Space. The Final Frontier? | Join in!

Hello everyone!

I’ve been a member of the Steemit Community for a while now, however I feel that I have never properly introduced myself. I am a senior at West Virginia University, studying to receive my Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Astronomy. I personally feel that the idea behind steem is revolutionary. I strongly believe it is a pivotal point in the evolution of social media and cryptocurrency, and I am beyond excited and honored to be a member of this uprising community. I hope to bring intriguing content that will be viewed as of quality and worth my fellow Steemians’ time.

-My sister and I following her White-Coat Ceremony also at WVU-

Steemit was brought to my attention by my good friend @jpdimensions. If you have the time give him a check. His content is very creative, ranging from 3D printing, world traveling, to an intuitive Steem.Fit app that pays to be active, and more.

Now, on to the debate!

"Space. The final frontier."

A popular phrase coined on the hit show Star Trek, but is it really the final frontier?

-Leonard Nimoy (Spock) and William Shatner (Captain Kirk) of Star Trek-

Exponential growth and progressions in technology have allowed hidden details comprising our vast and mysterious universe to, slowly but surely, be ascertained. In fact, just recently ripples in space time, aka gravitational waves, originating from two black holes colliding and merging into one was detected using LIGO (Laser Interferometer Gravitational-wave Observatory detectors) technology. Check out more about that along with many other interesting topics by following this link. https://www.ligo.caltech.edu/detection

With many aspects of the universe still untouchable by today’s technology, saying for certain what is and what isn’t can be speculated but not guaranteed. Searching the internet will yield a plethora of theories about the universe we live in and/or its possible counterparts.
So I’m asking you, Steemit Community, what are your thoughts on the matter. Do you think there are frontiers to explore beyond our own, or that our universe is the sole in existence?

Thanks for your time and in the words of the late, great Leonard Nimoy, "Live long and prosper."
