Introducing Wages of War
Hi. I'm John but you can call me Wages of War. This is my second post. I know it should have been my first, but here's to learning the ropes. I'm a Australian guy in my late 30's.
I'm really excited about joining the steemit community. This is the future of social networking. I'm so sick of the toxicity of the old guard. It's not good for mental health. In fact, I haven't really engaged with Facebook in a big way for months.
My interests are photography, cooking, playing metal guitar and internet censorship - just to name a few.
The internet censorship issue is really big for me right now. That's what brought me here to steemit.
I will be starting a Dtube presence in the very near future. I just have to get my content in order.
Anyway enough rambling. Thanks for having me.

Hi @kirbyhopper. I think the whole google controlled world has a problem with information censorship. They are too powerful and corrupt. The centralised power structure of Google is always going to pander to external policy influence $$$. Fakebook too.
Seems to be the case. Solution?
Decentralised platforms like steemit are a good start. We have entered Web 3.0 I believe.
Problem is, steemit isn't decentralized at all. Only the blockchain is decentralized. Steemit is an oligarchy dominated by a few whales, and the payout system makes sure it stays that way.
