Connection, Cooperation, Freedom

As far back as I can remember, I always liked online communities.

I entered crypto-platforms in 2013, when Bitcoin was sold around $100 a piece few months before it peaked over $1000. That's a pretty good incentive for a newcomer, but the social experiment and the new paradigm and all the wizardry were better. Since then, I've learned a ridiculous amount of things and I've met some very interesting people. And the necessary result of this is that I've ended up doing a ridiculous amount of interesting things.

For whoever does not know (yet) the crypto scene, what I do may sound hermetic. I'm mostly a Nxt person. Administrator at the Nxt Forum and wiki, systems operations, some support. Recently I also joined in for the Waves forum. And for over two years now, I've been doing work in jl777's SuperNET.

SuperNET always aimed to be a collaborative effort. A place to entwine technologies and communities. Let's hang and learn and do cool stuff together and get some extra freedom along the way! Where do I sign up? A lot of crypto projects have a similar mindset, but SuperNET put it as a sign in the front door. And wherever I go in crypto land, cooperation remains a keyword.

In a world of trustless systems, trust and cooperation become special, because they cannot be enforced. The systems cannot reward trust with trust, for that we're on our own.

Steem is more than a good use case. It is a good step in that direction, to connect the crypto community to the global one. And I hope there's many more to come.
